HOW TO CHANGE AN 12" Rubber Wheel

2 types of wheels

Wheel with no hole | Wheel with hole already drilled

2 different methods to drill the wheel

Method 1
  • With a rubber hammer and a sharp screwdriver
  • Drill a hole over the small plastic bubble
  • The hole will reveal the spring
  • Using the sharp screwdriver, push on the spring to release the wheel
  • Take off the wheel from the axle
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle
Method 2
  • With a drill and a sharp screwdriver
  • Gently drill a hole over the small plastic bubble
  • Make sure not to drill too hard, to keep the spring intact
  • The hole will reveal the spring
  • With the sharp screwdriver, push on the spring to release the wheel
  • Take off the wheel from the axle
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle


Wheel with hole already drilled

  • With a sharp screwdriver
  • Push on the spring to release the wheel from the axle
  • Take off the old wheel from the axle
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle

HOW TO CHANGE AN 12'' Bi-Material Wheel
ON WHEELED BIN

  • Using needle-nose pliers
  • Insert the pliers in the 2 holes
  • Release the wheel from the axle using the pliers
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle

HOW TO CHANGE AN 8'' Rubber Wheel 
ON WHEELED BIN

2 methods

Method 1
  • With a rubber hammer and a sharp screwdriver
  • Drill a hole on the small circle on the largest bar at the middle of the wheel
  • The hole will reveal the spring
  • Using the sharp screwdriver, push on the spring to release the wheel
  • Take off the wheel from the axle
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle
Method 2
  • With a drill and a sharp screwdriver
  • Gently drill a hole in the small circle on the largest bar at the middle of the wheel
  • Make sure not to drill too hard, to keep the spring intact
  • Drill to reveal the spring
  • With the sharp screwdriver, push on the spring to release the wheel
  • Take off the wheel from the axle
  • Insert the new wheel on the axle

HOW TO CHANGE A 95 Gallon Lid
ON WHEELED BIN

Before getting started, make sure that you have selected the right video for your lid.
Look under your old lid; this video is for lids 63540 and 63565.
If you no longer have your old lid, look under your bin; this video is for lid 60204.

  • With a saw and a screwdriver
  • Saw the black plastic rod between the lid and the bin
  • With the screwdriver, push the plastic rod out
  • Place the new lid and insert the new black plastic rod
  • Install the black cap at the end of the rod

HOW TO CHANGE A 64 Gallon Classic Lid 
ON WHEELED BIN

Before getting started, make sure that you have selected the right video for your old lid.
Look under your old lid; this video is for lid 63545.
If you no longer have your old lid, look under your bin; this video is for lid 60213.

  • With a screwdriver and a rubber hammer
  • Using the screwdriver, take the lid off the bin
  • Insert the new lid by both ends and secure it on the bin using the rubber hammer

HOW TO CHANGE A 32, 64 and 95 Gallon MasterCart Lids
ON WHEELED BIN

Before getting started, make sure that you have selected the right video for your lid.
Look under your old lid; this video is for lids 63547, 63546 and 63562.
If you no longer have your old lid, look under your bin; this video is for lids 60211, 60216 and 60269.

  • With a flat tool and a rubber hammer
  • Using the flat tool and the rubber hammer, push the black plastic rod out of the lid
  • completely out of the lid
  • Place the new lid and fully insert the new black plastic rod

How to close a bent lid ON WHEELED BIN

  • With a broom stick or long handle stick
  • Make sure to work in a warm place; the plastic will be more pliable and less likely to break
  • Open the lid and place the broom stick over the hinges
  • Slowly close the lid
  • Push 3 to 4 times on the front right corner to make the plastic bend
  • Do the same thing on the left corner
  • Take the stick off and close the lid

How to install a Quattro Downspout Connector 

  • Check if your rain barrel is already pre-drilled for a downspout connector
  • Mark the position for the Quattro connector on your downspout
  • Cut a 3 3/4" opening in your downspout
  • Cut the upper opening on the bottom of your Quattro connector according to your downspout dimensions
  • Install your Quattro connector on your downspout
  • Drill a 1" hole on your rain barrel to insert the Quattro connecting hose
  • Install the connecting hose from the Quattro connector to the rain barrel

How to install a Metal Catch Bar ON WHEELED BIN 

  • With a drill and a 1" diameter hole saw
  • Drill two holes, one on each side of the bin, as shown in the video
  • Insert the metal catch bar one end at a time
  • If the bin is already drilled, skip the drilling step and insert the metal catch bar into the holes
